This workshop is aimed at both ‘newbies’ and those of you with some experience wanting to up your game a bit.

In the productive plot here at Green Road Gardens, we will give you the skills to start planning and setting up a kitchen garden, avoiding commonly made mistakes.

It will include the following topics:

• • The location and layout of your veggie patch
  • Making raised beds
  • Seed sowing and plant maintenance
  • Composting and soil fertility
  • Pest and disease control
  • Herb and fruit production

You will see fruit, vegetables, and herbs at various stages of development.

There will be plenty of hands-on learning and lots of opportunity for questions.

The class runs from 9:30 until approx. 5pm on Sun 26th April.
