Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa from easily obtained materials.

Stone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighter and a lot easier to handle.

On the first part of this workshop on Sun 13th Sept  (10am – 3pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop on Sun 20th Sept (10am – 2pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking.un 2 We will then look at how to plant it up with succulents. You will also learn how to propagate succulents to bring home to fill your trough.
