DESCRIPTION:This workshop is aimed at both ‘newbies’ and those of you with some experience wanting to up your game a bit. \nIn the productive plot here at Green Road Gardens\, we will give you the skills to start planning and setting up a kitchen garden\, avoiding commonly made mistakes. \nIt will include the following topics: \n\n\n\nThe location and layout of your veggie patch\nMaking raised beds\nSeed sowing and plant maintenance\nComposting and soil fertility\nPest and disease control\nHerb and fruit production\n\n\n\nYou will see fruit\, vegetables\, and herbs at various stages of development. \nThere will be plenty of hands-on learning and lots of opportunity for questions.
