DESCRIPTION:This class is aimed at those of you who want to set up a kitchen garden or to improve your current one. \nIt will cover topics such as: \n\nPlanning your garden space\, so that you avoid common pitfalls\nBuilding raised beds\nSeed sowing\, pricking out and transplanting\nPest and disease identification and learning how to deal with them\nCompost making and soil fertility\nHerb propagation and cultivation\nCreating a fruit garden\n\nIt will run over 8 weeks on Thursday nights from 7-9pm\, starting on Thurs. May 20th  and finishes on Thurs. SUMMARY:Bees Wax Food Wraps
DESCRIPTION:For those of you who would like to lessen the amount of single-use plastics such as cling-film and sandwich bags that you use in your home\, these bees-wax wraps make a good environmental alternative. \n100% cotton or recycled material and bees wax\, pine resin and jojoba oil are used to create these wraps. The ingredients used are both anti-bacterial and anti-microbial and as such make wonderful food wraps. Each participant will go home with some wraps and the knowledge to make more either for themselves or as gifts for friends.
