DESCRIPTION:First-Aid from the garden \nLearn how to use some of the common herbs growing in your garden and in the wild areas around your home to create some first aid remedies for everyday ailments such as bites\, stings and general skin irritations. \nIn this short workshop you will learn how to identify some of the common healing plants. \nWe will then prepare these herbs and use them to make healing oils and salves. \nEach participant will take home some samples to try. \nThere will be lots of time for questions and the evening will be topped off with the usual Green Road Garden bakes\, tea and coffee.
