SUMMARY:Hypertufa Troughs (Two half days – Sun 13th & Sun 20th Sept)
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa from easily obtained materials. \nStone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighter and a lot easier to handle. \nOn the first part of this workshop on Sun 13th Sept  (10am – 3pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop on Sun 20th Sept (10am – 2pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking.un 2 We will then look at how to plant it up with succulents. You will also learn how to propagate succulents to bring home to fill your trough. \nPrice includes tea/coffee on arrival and  home-cooked lunch on both days.

SUMMARY:Foraged Basket-Sat 24th to Mon 26th Oct
DESCRIPTION:On this extended weekend you will be able to completely relax and unwind\, immersing yourself in nature. Over the three days you will make a unique creation from foraged materials. This creation can be either a functional basket or a more sculptural piece.\nEach day we will go on a woodland walk to explore what nature has to offer for inclusion in your piece. We will also look at my garden and discuss the growing\, harvesting and preparation of willow\, dogwood and other garden plants for weaving. \nCost includes all materials\, lunches and coffee breaks each day. \nSat 24th to Mon 26th Oct – The class runs from 9:30 until approx. 4pm each day.
