DESCRIPTION:Willow is an extremely useful and versatile plant in the garden.\n\n\n\nIn this workshop you will learn how to propagate\, grow and harvest the willow. \nWe will then work on a number of projects using both fresh and seasoned rods. \nEach participant will make and take home their own willow plant support. You will also learn how to make a leaf mould basket\,  harlequin tree\, in addition to a ‘fedge’ (a cross between a fence and a hedge) from living willow. \nThe class runs from 9.30am until 5pm on Sat 28th March 2026. SUMMARY:Hypertufa Troughs (Two half days – Sat 17th & Sat 24th May)
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa from easily obtained materials. \nStone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighter and a lot easier to handle. \nOn the first part of this workshop Sat 17th May  (10am – 3pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop Sat 24th May (10am – 2pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking. We will then look at how to plant it up with succulents. You will also learn how to propagate succulents to bring home to fill your trough. \nPrice includes tea/coffee on arrival and  home-cooked lunch on both days.

DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa from easily obtained materials. \nStone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighter and a lot easier to handle. \nOn the first part of this workshop Sat 13th July  (10am – 3pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop Sat 20th July (10am – 2pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking. We will then look at how to plant it up with succulents. You will also learn how to propagate succulents to bring home to fill your trough. \nPrice includes tea/coffee on arrival and  home-cooked lunch on both days.

These unique forest folk make wonderful Christmas decorations or bespoke Christmas gifts. \nYou will also learn how to make some Christmas stars and other natural festive decorations. SUMMARY:Hypertufa Troughs (Two half days-18th & 25th June)
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa from easily obtained materials. \nStone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighter and a lot easier to handle. \nOn the first part of this workshop Sat 18 June (10am – 1:30pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop Sat 25th June (10am – 1:30pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking. We will then look at how to plant it up with succulents. You will also learn how to propagate succulents to bring home to fill your trough. \nPrice includes tea/coffee on arrival and  home-cooked lunch on both days.

DESCRIPTION:Create your own unique Easter decorations on a fun filled day in relaxed and beautiful surroundings.. \nIn this workshop you will learn various techniques to decorate eggs. These will include decoupage and dyeing with different plant materials and recycled silk to create unique and beautiful pieces. \nHaving decorated your eggs\, we will then explore different methods for displaying them and you can try your hand at making a rustic Easter wreath from foraged materials. \nOnce learned these simple but effective techniques can be replicated and built upon at home with friends and family. \nDelicious home-cooked lunch and tea-break will add to your day’s enjoyment. \nThe class runs from 9.30am until 5pm on Saturday April 9th. \n \n \n \n
