Learn how to make an inexpensive stone trough look-alike from hypertufa. The ingredients used in the mix for these troughs is made up from easily obtained materials. Stone troughs can be very heavy but the use of vermiculite in our mix makes them considerably lighted and lot easier to handle. On the first part of this workshop Sunday May the 9th (10am - 1pm) you will sculpt your own small trough. In the second part of the workshop Sunday May 16th (2pm - 5pm) you will finish your trough using techniques to make it more natural and aged looking. We will then look at how to plant up your trough with succulents and methods of propagating this unique group of plants.
Sunday morning May 10th and Sunday afternoon May 17th 10am - 5pm
